Here’s a game clip of Nets-Magic from NBA.com:
After losing by 30 to the Miami Heat, the Nets handed a 30-point+ thrashing of their own to the Dwight Howardless Orlando Magic, beating them by the score, 107-68, Friday.
Brook Lopez, whom Orlando GM Rob Hennigan did not want in return for Howard in a trade with the Nets, scored 14 pts and grabbed 10 rebounds. Reserve center Andray Blatche scored a game high 15 pts off the bench. The Nets were smart to run their offense from the interior but why did it take so long? I know Brooklyn has elite scorers in Deron Williams and Joe Johnson, but there are only a half-dozen teams with 7-foot centers who can score like Lopez can on any given night.
