The Nets lost to the Philadelphia 76ers, 106-96, at the Barclays center Friday night. The loss was their second straight against a division opponent (Nets lost to Celtics by 30 on Thursday). Thaddeus Young of the 76ers led all scorers with 24 points and 9 rebounds. Lopez paced Brooklyn with 23 points and 9 boards. Brooklyn’s bugaboo in its two losses has been its poor transition defense (the Nets have been outscored 32-12 on fastbreaks). But it’s only the preseason, so I see no need to panic.
